Something not right, or a question?
support@mythen.ioKellan, who makes Strata, reads every message. It is a very small studio, so a reply can take a few days.
It helps to say which iPhone you have, its iOS version, and the version shown at the bottom of Settings in Strata. A screenshot helps too.

Before you write
Is my progress safe? Can I move it to a new iPhone?
Strata keeps your progress on your iPhone, inside the app. There is no account and nothing is stored online, so it plays the same with or without a connection.
It is part of your iPhone's own backup (iCloud or a computer). Restoring a backup brings it back, and setting up a new iPhone from one brings it along.
Deleting Strata erases its progress, and there is no other copy. If you need the space, choose Offload App instead (Settings › General › iPhone Storage › Strata): that keeps your progress for when you reinstall.
Playing in Safari or from your Home Screen rather than the App Store app? Then progress lives in that browser on that device, and clearing Safari's website data erases it.
Strata won't open, or it's stuck
Close it fully (swipe it away in the app switcher) and open it again. Your progress is kept.
If that doesn't help, restart your iPhone and check for an iOS update. Still stuck? Write to us with your iPhone model and iOS version, and we'll look into it.
How do I play?
Tap the glowing stone on the title. Short lessons follow, and teach everything as you play.
To see them again, tap Learn, the first stone on the map; hold it to choose a single lesson. The rules are always in Settings on the map, and in the pause menu (≡) during a puzzle.
What do the numbers mean?
Each number counts the hidden object's cubes in its row, running across, down or back. A plain number means they sit together in one run. Circled, they are split into two groups; in a square, three groups or more. A 0 means nothing in that row belongs, so all of it can go.
Is there a time limit?
No. A small clock counts up, but nothing runs out and time never costs you anything. Gems reward a steady hand: ◆◆◆ for no slips, two for a few, one for finishing. A slip can be taken back with ↺.
Sound, music or vibration
Each can be switched off on its own, in Settings on the map.
Is there anything to buy?
No. The App Store version of Strata has no ads, no purchases and no accounts.
